The French Language School has been training officers from the Department of Defence for over ten years. Our teachers are very familiar with syllabus design and material development and are higly capable of designing a French course that will meet your specific requirements.Through our extensive experience with the Department of Defence, our teachers have become very familiar with the required specific vocabulary: military, naval and technologic.The French Language School has also a panel of qualified and experienced French teachers in Adelaide who can continue with your French Language Training after your posting.

Students are assessed prior to starting a course.Group lessons are at a cost of $370.00 per term (one 1 hour lesson per week for 10 weeks).
The lessons are highly personalised as they are made up of very small groups of 2 - 5 students.Methodology:
The French Language School uses the latest teaching methodology in France: ECHO (for adults). The objectives and methods used in ECHO are complient with CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for languages). It is also suitable preparation for the DELF (Diploma in French Studies).
Materials are at an additional cost depending on your proficiency level.

Ms Celine Faivre is a highly proficient French language teacher, who has an excellent teaching approach and extensive experience. She has been working at the French Language School for over 10 years. Ms Faivre has completed a Graduate Diploma in Education, a Graduate Diploma in Teaching Foreign Languages as well as a Master of English Studies and Literature. Ms Faivre has demonstrated a high level of commitment and dedication throughout her career. This is particularly emphasised through her delivery of customised French language programs to a range of students with varying French abilities. Ms Faivre has worked as a French instructor for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and also in primary and high schools. She has extensive experience with students of all ages and an excellent method of teaching the French language.
Ms Elizabeth Conway is a fully qualified French teacher. She has been working at the French Language School for over six years and we have always received excellent feedback from her students. Ms Conway holds a Bachelor of Arts in French as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in teaching. Throughout her teaching career Ms Elizabeth Conway has taught to children and adults of all levels, she has also assisted various professionals in preparing their posting overseas. Her qualifications along with her extensive teaching experience make Ms Conway a teacher of the highest calibre.
Ms Magali Millot is an excellent French teacher with teaching experience in a variety of environments and to a large range of students. Ms Millot holds a Graduate Certificate in General Education from the Victorian Qualification Authority and has worked as a French teacher in various institutions in Australia, including several Community Centres and Frankston High School in Victoria. Having lived, studied and worked in both France and Australia, she has an excellent grasp of both English and French. Ms Millot has an in-depth knowledge of the intricacies of the French language and her teaching experience has allowed her to gain an exceptional understanding of how best to impart her knowledge to her students.
Mr Laurent Tarrade is a native French speaker and a fully qualified French teacher. Previously working in Australia, he has a high level of proficiency in English as well as French. Mr Tarrade has achieved qualifications working with a wide range of students, of varying skill levels and ages, rendering him an exceptional teacher. Growing up and studying in France adds a level of depth to Mr Tarrade's lessons. His extensive knowledge of French culture and facets of the French language allows students to have a well rounded and native learning experience.
Mr Laurent Tarrade is also available to conduct French maths lessons, as taught at Telopea Park School.
